✈ Getting to Diani (Ukunda)

Kenya has two international airports you may arrive to:

  • Nairobi – NBO
  • Mombasa – MBA

Your final destination is Diani (Ukunda – UKA).

Option 1 – Arriving via Nairobi (NBO)

Option 1a – Domestic flight to Mombasa (MBA). Then a yellow taxi to Diani / Ukunda – approx. 30 minutes

Option 1b – Domestic flight directly to Ukunda (UKA).

Note: Flights depart from NBO or Wilson Airport (20-minute taxi from NBO)

Option 2 – Arriving via Mombasa (MBA)

Yellow taxi to Diani / Ukunda – approx. 30 minutes.

Entry Visa

All travelers must complete the Kenya ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization

visa) at least one month in advance, as processing times are very busy

⛅ Weather & Departure Policy

  • Perfect weather = departure on March 28th
  • Bad weather = departure may shift to March 29th or later
  • Safari participants must stay 1–2 extra days

❗ In-Hop Policy

  • In-hops depend on weather.
  • There are no refunds if in-hops cannot be completed.
  • Participants may claim missed tickets at next year’s event.

1 Night – Tsavo East National Park – Based on 6 adults in a 4×4 Land Cruiser

Prices:

  • Sharing basis: 550 USD / person
  • Single supplement: 150 USD

  • Tsavo Park entry fees – 90 USD per person per day
